S.J. Lyon graduated from Seton Hill University with a BA in Creative Writing and Literature, and later with an MFA in Writing Popular Fiction. When not writing or plotting ways to escape her day job, she likes to immerse herself in video games — especially Dragon Age and the Tales of series — cosplay, crochet, and work on various projects for a flock of spoiled chickens. She lives in Western Pennsylvania with fourteen of those tiny feathered dragons, as well as a mischievous Pembroke Welsh Corgi named Pippin.
